Ingrid Budag was born and raised in South Brazil in a family of German descendants. From a troubled childhood and a rebellious adolescence, she met the Lord when she was about to take her own life at 18 years of age. The Lord surprised her two years later when she became Miss Brazil and a runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant. In her own words, “The Lord took me from milking a cow to the stage of the Miss Universe pageant.” Many surprises were in store for her including a ten-year stay in Israel.
She believed she would remain in Israel until she went to to heaven, but God had other plans as he called her away to a tiny town in South Brazil. During the next 17 years she planted and pastored a church, co-founded and co-taughta school, married, and lived through many wonders and much joy. Yet, she also walked through the valley of the shadow of death, from where she thought she’d never get out. Nevertheless, she waited patiently in the Promises of the Lord for Him to restore her life once more, and according to her own words, she was “again born again.” Now she has shared her story to help inspire and motivate other women.
“A queen must have a carriage, the walk of dignity. A queen must have courage, for she must rule all, even her enemies. A queen must have subjects, who love and admire her. So is Ingrid. As you will see in her book she qualifies with honors. We, her subjects, love her dearly and you will too, as you understand her Kingdom. Can’t wait for you to meet the King.” – Bishop Kenneth Phillips, Bishop of PromiseLand Church in Austin, TX
You too, can become one of the queens of the Kingdom. Listen to Ingrid’s story to learn how.

This is an inspirational true life story of overcoming the poverty and disruptive family to the toughest challenges that one can face: give-up on life or ask GOD to walk in front as the cover of the book shows!
What I want to share is how profoundly moving this story is. I cried, I LOL, I prayed, I stopped so many times to ask God for forgiveness. It was hard to put the book down because I wanted to find out what happened next.
Along the 20 years we walked together as friends I heard over and over again her testimony, but nothing to compare to what I felt reading the book. It relates the dual face of her life, which is as bright and shining as dark and treacherous.
In some heartbreaking recounts, Ingrid brought back a lot of my own heartbreaking recounts.
Despite the family problems and as more gut-wrenching the memoirs progress, Faith, Love and Hope was maintained even with Royalty as the book’s title suggests.
“Queens of the Kingdom” is the kind of breathtaking achievement that comes from watching a survivor cling to the smallest hope in a world awash with decay, and to have that hope rewarded by Jesus.
It is a remarkable and stunning memoir that demonstrates everything that’s right and wrong with society, and how you will be cared for and compensated if the Lord’s Hand is upon you.
This book empowers readers to overcome any obstacle, relentless prayers, indomitable faith, and through tenaciously seeking the Will of GOD.
Thank you Marlene for posting your comments about Queens of the Kingdom publicly on this blog. I agree with what you wrote. It was good meeting you yesterday on the webinar. Many blessings to you! Joseph
