Ingrid Budag was born and raised in South Brazil in a family of German descendants. From a troubled childhood and a rebellious adolescence, she met the Lord when she was about to take her own life at 18 years of age. The Lord surprised her two years later when she became Miss Brazil and a runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant. In her own words, “The Lord took me from milking a cow to the stage of the Miss Universe pageant.” Many surprises were in store for her including a ten-year stay in Israel.
Ingrid’s amazing story will inspire anyone who believes in a God of tender mercies, sweet surprises, and fierce love. Through miracles, adventures, heartbreak, and new beginnings, her life is living proof of Romans 8:37, ‘We are more than conquerors through Him Who loves us.
